Happy Mother’s Day

Spread the love

The world calls it multitasking.

My mother just calls it living.

She could be cooking, cleaning, worrying, praying, working

All at once.

And still remember exactly how much sugar I like in my tea.

She didn’t have Google Calendar.

She just knew

When my exams were,

What time dad needed his medicines,

And how to fix my broken heart without asking a single question.

She wasn’t a CEO.

But she managed the budget of a 5-member family with the skill of a Wall Street banker.

She wasn’t a nutritionist.

But one taste of my face told her I hadn’t eaten well.

She wasn’t a therapist.

But one tight hug made the anxiety disappear.

She was never just a mother.

She was the HR, the finance head, the cook, the doctor, the peacemaker, the safety net, the engine of the house.

And she never asked for a raise.

Never complained.

Never said, “I’m tired.”

Because for her, loving was never a task it was her superpower.

This Mother’s Day, don’t just thank her.

Watch her.

See how she still cuts mangoes with the same precision.

Notice how she remembers everyone’s favourite dish.

Watch how she loves without conditions, without ego, without limits.

Because in a world obsessed with productivity and personal growth…

She has quietly been the most extraordinary human you’ll ever know.

She didn’t just give you life.

She taught you how to live it.

That’s not a mother.

That’s magic.
